Insight into our detective work – Part 2: What does a private detective help with?
Have you never worked with a detective and would you like to know what to expect and how it all works? In this 3-part series, we would like to give you a little insight into our work and how working with us could look like. In this part you will find out in which subject areas a PRIMECHECK private detective is active and how you can commission us.
What does a private detective help with?
A Private Detective works primarily – as the name suggests – in the private sphere. His main areas of responsibility are determining marital infidelity and resolving maintenance disputes.
Unfortunately, it often happens that after a divorce, the higher earner pays either no or far too little maintenance to the ex-partner and children. Attempts are made to hide assets, to cover up actual income or even to pretend poverty in order to avoid alimony payments that are legitimately due.
On the other hand, it often happens that the ex-partner is already living in a new marriage-like relationship and is therefore no longer entitled to maintenance payments, but continues to collect them diligently in order to enjoy additional income.
In both cases, a private detective determines the true circumstances, income and assets of the ex-partner and helps you to get your rights. All findings are fully documented so that you finally have legally secure proof. In this way, in the event of any legal disputes, you can directly present evidence that will decide in your favour. Perhaps it is enough to show this to your ex-partner in order to find an out-of-court solution.
Even if you suspect your partner is being unfaithful, a private detective can usually provide you with reliable answers quickly. This makes it possible to discretely follow your partner and see if he is really where he says he is. Is he really at work right now? Is she really on a business trip right now? A private detective will find out for you and create clarity. It’s also possible to have a fidelity test with your partner to see if he or she would go for some flirting or maybe even more. Here, an attractive person of the desired gender is sent to get to know the partner in a harmless situation and first lure them in with an innocent little flirt. It documents exactly how your partner behaves and whether he would have been willing to do more. If our loyalty tester fails, we’ll try another person later to rule out that your partner was too busy or in a bad mood.
This is just a small preview of the possible fields of activity of a private detective. If you have further questions or are not sure whether a detective is suitable for your request, do not hesitate to contact us.
